Al Othaim Awarded the International Prize for Development and Peace 2022
The European Center for Human Rights and International Law in Norway, in cooperation with the Arab Union for Development and Economic Integration, awarded Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al Othaim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abdullah Al Othaim Holding Company, the "International Prize for Development and Peace"; in recognition of his prominent role as one of the most important developers in the Arab world and supporting Arab and international efforts that elevate the humanitarian situation towards prosperity, stability, and development; during the International Conference for Development and Peace held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in the presence of high-level figures from several countries around the world.
Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al Othaim congratulated the European-Arab Center for Human Rights and International Law and the Arab Union for Development and Economic Integration on the success of the "International Conference for Development and Peace" held in the sisterly United Arab Emirates, on the occasion of celebrating the National Day of the UAE and the International Human Rights Day.
He also expressed his gratitude for the valuable trust in nominating him to receive the International Prize for Development and Peace for the year 2022.
Al Othaim said: "The developmental dimension of societies is one of the main axes from which we launch our investment activities, both commercial and charitable, to create more job opportunities, enhance human capital efficiency, localize technology, and develop infrastructure to contribute to achieving the desired development goals, amidst the unlimited support enjoyed by the business sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from our wise leadership, may God guide them, highlighting the support, care, and wide spaces for work and sustainable development initiatives provided by the government of the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the engineer of Vision 2030 of the Kingdom, which seeks to build a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.
Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al Othaim previously received the "Pioneers of Arab Development" award from the Arab Parliament as the first Arab personality to receive this award, which is presented to individuals who have had an impact on charitable and humanitarian work at the national and Arab levels.
